MGB Roadster
In 1962, the MGB replaced the MGA and continued in production until 1980. First introduced as a four cylinder open topped sports car, the MGB Roadster quickly established itself as an iconic British sportscar. Although it changed little over its long production run, connoisseurs of the marque often favour the Mark one, pull handle model.
MGB driving is all about the experience. The MGB has a comfortable yet sporty feel and is all about getting out on the open road. You can drive one of these all day long and feel relatively fresh at the end of a long journey.
MGBs enjoy a popular following still and are considered by many to be the archetypal British sports car and the inspiration for many other marques such as the Mazda MX5. Imitation is perhaps the sincerest form of flattery.
Our cars can be enjoyed whatever the weather with the benefit of having the top up or down and the heater on for the colder days, although if you want to keep extra cosy with the top down you can invest in one of our high-quality Vintage & Classic Car Hire beanies. The perfect addition to your experience at just £15 each, you’ll be snug and warm as you take in the sights of the county.
Stop in an idyllic location and take advantage of either our homemade picnic in a vintage hamper for your guest and you to enjoy on your travels priced at £55 for two or our Winter Warmer soup and sandwich pack for £30 for two – perfect for a chilly day!

A TRULY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

A NICE CHANGE FROM LONDON
On a recent trip to London we decided to see a bit of Essex. It only took an hour from London on the train and we picked the MGB GT and a picnic up just outside the station. My husband and I spent a lovely day touring the Essex countryside with a yummy hamper of food.

FOUND SOME HIDDEN GEMS
different for the day so we hired the MGB
Roadster. It was a gorgeous day and we chose a
route that we hadn’t done before and stumbled
across some hidden gems of Essex that we
didn’t realise were on our doorstep!
